Very, very tasty sushi at a great price! A little more sauce should be added to the bowls, but otherwise also very tasty :)!

Very small inconspicuous restaurant with very friendly staff and the food cannot be beat in terms of price / performance. Very tasty, nicely presented ? Was somewhere else with my boyfriend at the weekend and we noticed again that we should just stay loyal to Akemi :)

Tasty and fair prices. The last time we were there, there was unfortunately no more sashimi on the menu. Otherwise really good sushi, both classic and Europeanized.

The place is super cozy and beautiful, all personalized. The service is impeccable, just thank the good conduct and professionalism of the employees. The food is definitely the best part, it is good and fresh. Everything seems to me done with love. Fair price also with the price. I will definitely be back!

A really nice and authentic restaurant. The card leaves nothing to be desired. Sushi and karage were delicious.

Best sushi spot in the south of the city

Super cool sushi shop in the southern part of the city with very friendly service. An all-you-can-eat menu is offered twice a week at a good price of € 25. Very tasty and fresh sushi. We always enjoy being here.

Very tasty sushi and the price is absolutely justified. There is a deduction because we had the All You Can Eat Sushi offer but unfortunately our second round of sushi was simply forgotten. When we asked if they would meet us in terms of price, since we did not have an All You Can Eat we were told we had got sushi and something would have just been forgotten. We thought it was a shame that we were offered no alternative at all.

There is hardly a sushi restaurant where the price / performance ratio is so good. A clear recommendation!

Not recommended. Just ordered by phone, the delivery was unfortunately not complete. Sushi was missing! I called immediately and was told that sushi was brought, but something was forgotten. You couldn't tell me when and if something would be delivered later.

The akemi offers a very pleasant, sober but absolutely cozy restaurant atmosphere. The friendly service staff immediately makes you feel good and does a great job! Delicious sushi, creative rolls and strong mains. Not coincidentally, there is also an international audience for dinner! :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

The fish is fresh and extremely well priced. And the service is great. This place deserves more attention than it gets. Whoever said below that the owner doesn’t speak English does not know what they are talking about. She spoke very well. I also ordered bottled water and I can assure you it wasn’t 7 euro. The prices are marked and it’s well worth the money. I have no dog in this fight but I don’t like to see hard working people get slammed because someone’s in a bad mood

Good and fast service, very friendly

These guys would get a 5 star rating, because I really like their sushi and the fair pricing they offer. Unfortunately, the ventilation inside is less than perfect and you kinda come out smelling like a kitchen. The staff are lovely, forthcoming and patient.

Fresh sushi made-to-order and it always seems to be filled with local workers and residents. Time is definitely put into each dish.

Very tasty sushi, also vegetarian! Ambience is okay. Service too. But the main thing is that everything was tasty.

Mango paradise roll was tremendous!

Ordered take out and from the moment I entered until I was given the food it took just 20-25minutes. For peak time I think this is pretty fast. When you enter the restaurant you are greeted by friendly staff. They are always smiling. The rolls I ordered were really good. Loved the mango paradise and the tokyo roll.

Thank you, but no thank you!!! I was there with a friend for lunch during the week ... the owner, a lady came to take the order, and when in English I asked how was working there for lunch, she did non anyhow mentioned that there was an offer, on the other side she encouraged us to order from the menu. Result: we spent 35 euros in 2 ... WE WERE CHARGED 7 EUROS for a bottle of 0,75 litre WATER - outrageous- the bill was written on a common pice of paper (well done for the tax office!) And above all we went out hungrier then when we enter! My dear lady, taking advantage on non german speaking people it's so really sad!

Just after an succesful try to a spanish delight and since the other good places were full booked already, it was a real coincidence that we ever landed here. I cant be sure if this place is owned or run by any real Japanese. Pls start looking at the ambiance. ;-) But it isnt something new, here in Germany. Esp. if in fact, many pizzerias are/were owned by Arabs, Vietnamese run Thai & Chinese Restos and on the other hand the Chinese are taking care of Japanese venues. Our Thai waitress aproached us with some thai and the only thing I could catch was the word 'thai'. lol She was kinda slow that evening and she looked as if the world isnt fair to her but her voice became tender as we left her with some tips. The service mentioned the buffet, but we didnt see any buffet tables/bar around. But as I carried the picture of a pan filled with delish paella, I wasnt really into any flat rate dinner or buffet anyway so we decided to order ala carte, as follow: (Price range: budget to moderate) Surimi Strips with plum sauce (my charming cavalier got Chicken Satay with Fish Rolls) and we shared a plate of Sushi Creative -ended with 14 Sushi rolls with Tuna, Salmon, Ebi & Avocado. The Surimi Strips tasted more to two bunches of fried wheat dough with a tiny little fish flavor. The waitress explained us that Surimi is made of crabs. lol The Chicken Satay was well marinated and the Fish Rolls didnt taste bad afterall. But all of the warm dishes was not served warm enough. Here we come the Sushi... They are all huge, I had no clue... Either they think that japanese or german has wide big mouth. ;-) The only thing that awed me that evening was the fact that the avocado (both as filling and strip) was ripe and sweet, as the taste of the Ebi Prawn and Fish wasnt that convincing to me. The rice was huge, thick and somehow too overcooked.
